South Swell "In House" Pro Strung

You caught us! You won't find any MLL or LXM Pro using this string job (For Now) but this one is a company favorite and has been selling like crazy in our San Diego retail location so we made the jump and put it online!

San Diego Store Assistant Manager Jake Barker has been one of our South Swell stick gurus for the past few years and this latest creation was designed just by him with a goalie in mind

Here is Jake talking about this pocket!

"This stick is strung with pocket depth, ball control, and a smooth release in mind. The Warrior Nemesis Lyte is the perfect fit for this pocket. With its flared-out sidewalls the Nemesis lyte helps to form the most unique part of this custom string job, the channel.

Any goalie will tell you that in order to have an accurate passing game you need a pocket that forces the ball to sit in the same place each time you throw. In the case of this pocket it is formed in the middle of the stick allowing for accurate outlet passes and tremendous hold on the ball should you need to leave the crease and start the transition from defense to offense.

For this stick we decided to increase the depth of the pocket by extending the sidewalls away from the plastic. Commonly known as a “hanging sidewall”, the purpose of this extension is to increase the depth of the pocket and to create a well formed channel in the mesh.

Using hard mesh in this stick allows for a well formed mid-level pocket which in turn offers a smooth release of the ball. The strategically placed shooting strings reinforce the ball control, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of the pocket."
