Matt Danowski has been playing with Warrior's new Cobra head. He teamed up with Pat, our stick stringing guru at South Swell Sports, to copy the style of pocket that Dino plays with. As Dino explains:
"I string my sticks with what I call a transitional pocket, which basically means when I carry it with one hand on my stick the ball sits by the throat and when I go to shoot it sits up by the U in my pocket. My stringing style fits in very well with the design of the new cobra and the elevated ball stop. I would say that my stick has a decent amount of power (I substitute the word power for whip as I feel whip has a negative connotation to it) in it and I like to feel the ball come out, that's why I put a sidewall string at the top. I would suggest this style to mainly players who have a couple of years of experience under their belt, who know how to handle the power that comes along with it."
