My name is Dan Collins and I am the new manager of South Swell Rancho Bernardo. Having grown up in San Diego I am excited to bring my love and knowledge of lacrosse to the North County. I was first introduced to lacrosse in the 7th grade while attending DePortola middle school in Tierrasanta. I then continued on to Serra high school where I earned “all-county” honors as a defense-man for the Conquistadors. After high school I went on to play at both Sonoma State and Chico State University. While at Chico State I also had the opportunity to join the coaching staff once I was done playing. I served as the defensive coordinator for the Wildcats for four years (03’-06’) until I moved back to San Diego. I now coach at San Diego State University and have served as the assistant head coach since the 09’ season. I thoroughly enjoy being a member of the San Diego lacrosse community and look forward to serving all of the lacrosse needs of North County.
