About the stringing style
"I like to string my heads focusing on two main factors, and the rest being built to support these. First, I make sure that I string the top lace of my stick as tight as humanly possible. I almost want the mesh to wrap upwards and to the inside of the top plastic. This gives me the quickest release and the most snap from the follow through of my shot. Second, I like to build my pocket three quarters of the way up the head. The pocket should be the size of the lacrosse ball, with the ball leaning against the first "U". This is how I get the most hold out of my stick (with the shooter supporting the ball), the most accuracy (being able to feel the ball), combined with the perfect amount of whip (my shooters are tied loose). The reason people think I play with a lot of whip is because I bring my stick so far back in my shot. Really, that just comes from practice, and having a pocket where the ball rests against your shooter - my whip is a 5/10 at best...In the end, the player makes the plays!
