Hello, my name is Brian Henning and I manage the Austin, TX South Swell Sports store. I also handle Team Sales for South Swell in Texas and Nationally. Please do not hesitate to contact myself or any employee of South Swell for great customer service and incredible product knowledge. I have worked with South Swell since 2005 and treasure the relationships I have made. All of our employees have years of playing experience and many have years of coaching experience as well. Feel free to come in and ask a few “X’s and O’s” questions along with any gear questions you may have.
I grew up in Lancaster, PA where I got my first stick at age 8 and graduated from Hempfield High School in 1997. While at Hempfield we won 3 League Championships. From there I went to Penn State University where I played on the NCLL Club Lacrosse Team. While there we won the 1999 NCLL National Championship. I then moved to Austin, TX where I played for The Austin Lacrosse Club from 1999-2006 and The Crease Monkeys Lacrosse Club. I have had to retire from playing due to injuries, but miss it every day.
I live in the Austin Area with my Wife Miriam and Son Dylan. I am very active in the community volunteering and coaching. I have lived in Austin since Aug. 23rd, 1999 and have had the privilege of seeing the great sport of lacrosse grow and mature in this great city at every level.
