Ned Crotty Pro Strung - Brine Remix Superlight
Available now exclusively with South Swell Sports, we are proud to present the newest addition to the South Swell Pro Strung Family! The Brine Remix Superlight will change the way you look at the pro strung family. Designed by Brine Pro Athlete Ned Crotty, the Brine Remix Superlight is designed to keep opposing teams guessing as you always mix things up with this new offensively designed head with Noz technology. Noz technology is when they infuse the head with nitrogen gas making it one of the lightest lacrosse heads on the planet without sacrificing the strength and durability. From Ned Crotty, For my sticks I like to use a high pocket. Often times people are surprised that I use a high pocket since I am an attackman, but it is always how I have stung my sticks. I like to string the top of my sidewalls so they are really tight, and then start making the sidewalls looser where I want the ball to sit (which is high in my stick). This helps to make sure the ball sits exactly where I want it to and prevents it from moving around a lot. I then use two shooting strings that wrap right around my pocket where the ball sits. This again helps to provide a perfect place for the ball to rest and prevents it from moving around. The high pocket also helps to give me added hold which is something that I have always used since I started playing, and helps to also keep the ball in my stick against the slicker defensemen. One reason why I have always used a high pocket is because of the different ways it always me to throw the ball. If a defender has his stick in my gloves and I am unable to get my hands free, I am still able to make an accurate pass to cutting a teammate simply by snapping my wrists. If you have a lower pocket without a lot of hold, if you were to snap your wrists trying to make a pass, the ball would just go flying into the air. Everyone likes to string their sticks differently to fit their style of play, I've found stringing my sticks like this have been a perfect fit for my game.
